for cruise passengersHow to make the most of your day in Florence with an expert private chauffeur and a professional and humorous guide. At the end of the day once back to your ship you will think you've been through a fantastic dream!
In the morning at your leisure your personal English-speaking chauffeur will be waiting for you at the Livorno docks directly by your ship with his air-conditioned car or minivan.
He will take you to Pisa's main Square Piazza dei Miracoli for a brief picture stop (around 45 minutes). Consider you will be taken directly to the Square as your driver has a special license to drive in traffic-restricted areas.
Once in Florence he will take you to the world's most celebrated panoramic terrasse (belvedere point) the Piazzale Michelangelo just before taking you to the city centre where you will meet your expert local guide for a tour of the city (around 4-5 hours to be distributed before and after lunch).
After a short lunch break you will meet your guide again to complete the tour.
The Florence guided tour will cover the following sites: Academy Gallery for a David tour with reservation (which means immediate access without waiting in line) Cathedral Square Signoria Square the Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce Basilica. Basically Florence in a nutshell!
Time for shopping on your own before you meet your driver at an established and easy-to-find meeting point to take you back to Livorno in time to reboard your ship.
